Study Abroad — Paris
I'm looking forward to studying architecture in Paris as part of my program — an opportunity to learn from a city built across centuries of layered history, urban change, and architectural ambition.
Historic Architecture — Studying buildings in person that I've only encountered in lectures and textbooks, and understanding how they were built, adapted, and preserved over time.
Different Urban Environments — Experiencing a European city's density, public transit, and street life firsthand — a useful contrast to the American cities I've studied so far.
Architecture Across Cultures — Seeing how design responds to different histories, climates, materials, and ways of life outside the U.S.
A Broader Perspective — Bringing an international point of view back into my own design work as I finish my degree and enter the profession.
